Staying in the Local Area
In many cases, bail bond companies require that you don't leave the local area. You might just be asked to stay within the same state, or you might be asked not to leave the county. Typically, when these conditions are present, you can get permission to leave the area by talking to the bail bondsman. This does depend on the bondsman and the case, though.
Checking in With the Bondsman
Your post-release conditions might state that you are required to check in with your bail bondsman from time to time. You might be required to show up in person at the bail bondsman's office, for example, or you might simply be required to call or send an email. Your post-release conditions should state how frequently you are required to check in with the bondsman, such as once a month or once a week.
Providing Information About Appearance Changes
When bonding you out of jail, your bail bondsman might notice and make note of a few things about your appearance. After all, if you don't show up for court, your bail bondsman might need to provide this information to a bounty hunter. Your bail bondsman might require you to let them know if you make any major changes to your appearance, such as if you cut or dye your hair or if you get new tattoos. Then, they can make sure that they can provide an accurate description of your appearance should they need to hire a bounty hunter.
